Modified Tapioca Starch is a functional starch ingredient manufactured in Vietnam using physical and chemical modification to tailor key performance properties versus native starch—such as viscosity, binding strength, gelatinization behavior, clarity, and processing stability. Available grades include Acetylated Starch (E1420), Phosphated Starch (E1412), Acetylated Distarch Adipate (E1422), Acetylated Distarch Phosphate (E1414), and Oxidized Starch (E1404), supporting diverse applications including noodles and starch-based foods, frozen and freeze–thaw products, sauces and condiments, confectionery, canned foods, and selected non-food industries (paper, textile, adhesives). Technical consultation is available to help importers and manufacturers select the most suitable starch type for their formulation and process.
